Thetare Workshops: Rhinoceros by Eugène Ionesco

Κατά το σχολικό έτος 2026-2026 λειτουργησαν δύο (2) θεατρικές ομάδες για παιδιά δημοτικού και μία (1) εφηβική. Η χρονιά χωρίστηκε σε τρεις φάσεις. 

  1. «Εισαγωγή στον κόσμο του θεάτρου μέσα από παιγνιώδη διαδρομή»: Ασκήσεις λόγου και σώματος, ασκήσεις συγκέντρωσης, χαλάρωσης και συντονισμού, η τεχνική του αυτοσχεδιασμού, η τεχνική της εκμετάλλευσης του τυχαίου, δημιουργία πρωτότυπων ιστοριών από τα παιδιά, η τέχνη της αφήγησης, παιχνίδι με σκηνικά αντικείμενα και κοστούμια, παιχνίδι με φως και σκιά, παιχνίδι με μουσική, τραγούδι (Οκτώβριος-Νοέμβριος).
  2. «Ο κόσμος του θεάτρου μετά τον β’ παγκόσμιο πόλεμο»: Το θέατρο αποτελεί καθρέφτη της κοινωνίας. Πώς επηρεάζεται ο κόσμος του θεάτρου από την μεγαλύτερη και πιο καταστροφική σύγκρουση στην ανθρώπινη ιστορία; Με ποια θέματα καταπιάνονται οι θεατρικοί συγγραφείς; Μελέτη και ανέβασμα έργου σε διασκευή για παιδιά (Δεκέμβριος-Φεβρουάριος)
  3. «Πρόβες και παράσταση»: Η ομάδα ολοκληρώνει ερμηνεία, σκηνικά, κοστούμια και κάνει τις τελευταίες της πρόβες πριν την παράσταση.

Οι τρείς ομάδες (23 μαθητές στο σύνολο) ενώθηκαν και παρουσίασαν με επιτυχία διασκευή του έργου «Ρινόκερος», του Ε. Ιονέσκο. Η παράσταση έλαβε χώρα στις 28 Μαΐου 2026 στο Γυμνάσιο Μονεμβασίας και την παρακολούθησαν πάνω από 150 θεατές.

During the 2025–2026 school year, two (2) theatre groups for primary school children and one (1) group for teenagers operated. The year was divided into three phases.

  1. “Introduction to the World of Theatre through a Playful Journey”: Speech and movement exercises, concentration, relaxation and coordination exercises, the technique of improvisation, the technique of making use of chance, creation of original stories by the children, the art of storytelling, games with stage props and costumes, games with light and shadow, games with music, singing (October–November).
  2. “The World of Theatre after the Second World War”: Theatre is a mirror of society. How was the world of theatre influenced by the largest and most destructive conflict in human history? What themes did playwrights explore? Study and staging of a theatrical work adapted for children (December–February).
  3. “Rehearsals and Performance”: The group completes the acting, sets, and costumes, and holds its final rehearsals before the performance.

The three groups (23 students in total) joined together and successfully presented an adaptation of the play Rhinoceros by Eugène Ionesco. The performance took place on 28 May 2026 at Monemvasia Gymnasium and was attended by more than 150 spectators.
